WIAS 2020 Cancelled

We are devastated to share this news with you. “The show must go on” is in our DNA, and this is the first time in 67 years that the WIAS event will not take place. We are now working through the ramifications of this unprecedented situation.

The New Era

Introducing the NEW Windhoek Industrial and Agricultural Show Identity to all exhibitors and the public. On 13 August 2019 the Windhoek Show Society Launched an entirely new look and concept for WIAS 2019 taking place from the 30th of September to the 5th of October 2019. The Windhoek Show has now shifted from a general show to a specialized one.

Wear a mask. Save lives.

To prevent the spread of COVID-19:

  • i. Clean your hands often. Use soap and water, or an alcohol-based hand rub.


  • ii. Maintain a safe distance from anyone who is coughing or sneezing.
  • iii. Wear a mask when physical distancing is not possible.
  • iv. Don’t touch your eyes, nose or mouth.
  • v. Cover your nose and mouth with your bent elbow or a tissue when you cough or sneeze.
  • vi. Stay home if you feel unwell.
  • vii. If you have a fever, cough and difficulty breathing, seek medical attention.
